Anti-Friction
For mechanical applications and all purpose use, PTFE tape offers superior low friction and non-stick properties.
Ceramic
Terpco offers a range of standard ceramic tape compositions, and also manufactures to customers' own formulations.
Crack Seal Tape
A unique, thin, smooth specially formulated tape that is designed to cover cracks on drywall or plaster to provide a smooth, reinforced surface that can be painted, texture finished or paper covered. This specially designed tape prevents cracks from reopening.
Fiberglass
With adhesive available on one or both sides, Taconic Glass Cloth TAC-TAPE™ is designed for use in masking parts for plasma spraying and for inner and outer wraps for transformers and motors.
- Superior cut-through and abrasion resistance
- Excellent flexibility
- High temperature stability
FEP
Optical clarity, high elongation, and exceptional UV resistance are the key attributes of Taconic FEP Tape.
- Conforms readily to difficult shapes
- Impervious to weathering
- Excellent dielectric properties
Kapton®
Red silicone splicing tape offers low profile, high strength splice to release coated surfaces. Bonds quickly and permanently to silicone surfaces. Used successfully in splicing, surface protection from scratches, chemical etching and as a plater's tape in the printed circuit board industry.
Pressure Sensitive
Our pressure-sensitive tapes are made with silicone, rubber, hot melts, and acrylic adhesives. The backings can be polyester, polyimide, polyethylene, PTFE, paper, and some other things that don't begin with "P". You know, like fiberglass cloth, foil, foams and films of all sorts.
PTFE
This tape has received wide acceptance in both military and industrial applications. Its high elongation properties are useful where conformability is important.
- Coated with a high temperature silicone adhesive, PTFE tape excels as a wire wrap and insulation tape for high dielectric and high temperature applications.
- For mechanical applications and all purpose use, PTFE tape offers superior low friction and non-stick properties.
Silicone
Red silicone splicing tape offers low profile, high strength splice to release coated surfaces. Bonds quickly and permanently to silicone surfaces. Used successfully in splicing, surface protection from scratches, chemical etching and as a plater's tape in the printed circuit board industry.
Splicing
For all phases of splicing silicone films and papers. Resists slippage, adhesive transfer, slivering.
Teflon®
This tape has received wide acceptance in both military and industrial applications. Its high elongation properties are useful where conformability is important.
- Coated with a high temperature silicone adhesive, PTFE tape excels as a wire wrap and insulation tape for high dielectric and high temperature applications.
- For mechanical applications and all purpose use, PTFE tape offers superior low friction and non-stick properties.
Teflon® Coated Fiberglass
Outstanding dimensional stability and tensile strength are the primary characteristics of PTFE coated glass-fabric pressure sensitive tape. Other features include:
- Excellent strength
- High heat resistance
- Non-stick surface
- Exceptional wear life
Thread PTFE
No matter your application, we've got the right PTFE tape for thread sealing. With 5 widths* to choose from, you can always apply the right amount of PTFE tape.
UHMW
Primarily used in low temperature mechanical applications (below 66C/150F), Taconic UHMW Polyolefin TAC-TAPE™ is an ultra-wear pressure sensitive tape constructed from Ultra-High Molecular Weight polyolefin and an acrylic adhesive.
- Out-wears PTFE five to one in low temperature applications
- Abrasion & puncture resistant
- Extremely low coefficient of friction
- Non-stick surface
- Superior tensile strength
