Gum Rubber

Our Pure Gum Rubber Tubing is cost-effective, resilient, and abrasion resistant. Popular materials include Latex, Silicone and Pure Gum for Tubing. It makes an excellent vacuum tubing because of its tear resistance and memory. This natural rubber tubing is versatile and cold temperature resistant; it is able to maintain a high coefficient of friction during most applications.

Latex

Known for its extreme flexibility, latex is among the most flexible and elastic rubber materials in use today. Resiliency is another quality of latex tubing, allowing it to maintain memory after repeated bending, stretching, or pulsating forces.

Latex also withstands repeated sterilization with either steam, Ethylene Oxide, or gamma radiation. There are no added plasticizers, coagulants, or fillers to migrate and contaminate the stream or cause tube hardening.

Nylon

Nylon tubing is a popular choice for low pressure pneumatic applications because of its combination of flexibility and toughness. Terpco uses a heat and light stabilized, very flexible high grade Nylon 12 compound that yields the finest quality tubing available. Some of the qualities of tubing extruded from the Nylon 12 raw material are good chemical resistance, low water absorption and superior dimensional stability. Nylon is the most recommended tubing material for all types of pneumatic circuits. Temperature Range: -40°F to +200°F (-40°C to +93°C)
